Moulin Rouge ~ Built in 1885, the Moulin Rouge was turned into a dance hall in 1900; only the red sails outside date from the original nightclub. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec immortalized the wild cancan shows in his drawings, and the high-kicking routines continue today in glittering, Las Vegas-style revues.
Pantheon: This Impressive late 18th century neo-classical temple host the remains of french great men. The most spectacular aspect is the size of the Pantheon. Masterpiece by Soufflot (1713-1780) and former church, the Panthéon became the burial place for famous French personalities such as Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo and so on.
Hôtel National des Invalides: The major dome of Paris beneath which lies two churches : One for the invalid soldiers for whom it was originally intended and the other intended as a mausoleum for the king(King Louis XIV) but now containing the mortal remains of Napoleon. Today, Les Invalides is a museum, monument and is used for military purposes.
